Amy S. Brown is a passionate theatre educator, director, and designer with more than a decade of experience shaping creative learning environments and producing impactful, student-centered theatrical work. With an MFA in Theatre Design and Technical Production and a rich background in scenography, costume design, and directing, she has led over 40 productions ranging from classic plays to large-scale musicals.
Amy spent ten years building and directing the award-winning theatre program at Midlothian Heritage High School, where she taught multiple levels of theatre and technical production, mentored students in UIL and Thespian competitions, and established a thriving performance culture.
Her design work spans educational, community, and regional theatre, reflecting strengths in visual storytelling, collaboration, and world-building. With a love for empathy-driven teaching, creative problem-solving, and immersive design, Amy brings a thoughtful, human-centered approach to every project, both in the classroom and on the stage.
